Kootenay Child Development Centre Hilarious Hillbilly Murder Mystery Dinner Fundraiser

Upcoming Murder Mystery Dinner Fundraiser:

A chance for the community to support the new Kootenay child development centre.

Families are the future of the East Kootenay Region, we are the only region within BC that does not have a Child Development Centre. A full continuum of child health services is not available in our area, existing services are fragmented and are difficult to access, and families are experiencing stress and financial strain by having to travel out of our region and out of province to access services for their children. The Kootenay Child Development Centre is a proposed multi-service centre that will provide a multitude of resources and support for families with children up to 19 years of age. The Centre will provide a comprehensive service delivery system that is coordinated and offered in one central facility. Service providers working together in one location will achieve efficiencies; by cooperating and collaborating together, they will be able to develop innovative delivery options and remove barriers causing delays in treatment.

In order to raise awareness and financial support for this much needed facility, the fundraising committee for the new Kootenay Child Development Centre is pleased to announce its first annual gala fundraiser ” The Hilarious Hillbilly Massacre”, which will be held on Saturday, October 15^th, 6:30pm at the Heritage Inn.

“The Hilarious Hillbilly Massacre” a murder mystery dinner, promises to be a fun-filled evening with entertainment provided by Stab in the Dark Productions, Cranbrook’s premier event organizers. The evening will include a fabulous four course meal, as well as numerous opportunities to win door prizes – which have been generously donated by local artisans and businesses.

By purchasing tickets for this event you can help the committee reach their goal of $1.1 million dollars. To date the committee has succeeded in securing close to two-thirds of the funds needed to make this dream become a reality. Help them help the children by purchasing tickets to this event, by doing so you have the chance to show your support for children and families in the East Kootenay Region.
